Artificial intelligence is revolutionizing our world, from workplaces to classrooms, nonprofits to small businesses! Yet, many people haven't had the opportunity to learn how to harness AI in a responsible and effective way for community empowerment and positive change.
This exciting, hands-on program will equip you with practical skills to integrate AI tools into your everyday tasks, while also guiding you on how to navigate important issues like bias, hallucinations, and privacy, ultimately contributing to social impact. Let’s embrace the future together!
The focus is on the vibrant community of Northwest Indiana, while we warmly welcome the opportunity to connect with your extended networks of friends and family.
By the end of this class, you will be able to: Understand AI fundamentals, capabilities, and limitations, which can drive community empowerment and foster positive change. Use ChatGPT, Gemini, and Copilot to increase productivity and create a lasting social impact. Write effective prompts that produce useful outputs while recognizing and managing bias and hallucinations. Employ AI ethically, securely, and with data privacy in mind to support community initiatives. Identify tasks you can automate to free time for higher-value work that contributes to positive change.
